Our best scientific minds
must work 24/7 on vaccine
As I comply with the directive to stay home until given the permission to resume normal activities, I am also left with the feeling that our leaders don’t have any idea when normal will occur.
I also happen to be one of those seniors that may be subject to serious illness if the COVID-19 virus should infect me. It appears to me that even when the all-clear signal is given and we can begin outside activities, those of us seniors will still be in jeopardy.
The only solution for the elderly will be when and if a COVID-19 vaccine is developed. Development of this vaccine should be treated with the greatest urgency. This will also allow our economy to begin to recover. We need our best scientific minds working 24/7 on this vaccine.
