Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon reopened in both directions Saturday afternoon after two days of closures due to flooding and debris flow.
Westbound and eastbound lanes opened around 1 p.m. Saturday, though the interstate is still down to one lane in several spots in the canyon, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
I-70 was closed overnight Thursday and all day Friday due to flooding in the canyon’s burn areas and the debris flow that followed that flooding.
