The state’s secretary of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Halsey Beshears, announced on Twitter that he was rescinding a previous order that essentially closed bars across the state: On June 26, amid a resurgence of new COVID-19 cases, bars that didn’t offer substantial food menus were banned from serving alcohol.
