Nolan Arenado of the Colorado Rockies celebrates with his teammates after hitting a 3 RBI walk off home run in the ninth inning against the San Francisco Giants at Coors Field on June 18, 2017 in Denver.
While the world of sports is stuck on pause amid the global coronavirus pandemic, it doesn’t mean we can’t watch some baseball.
MLB.com shared a list of five classic major league baseball for every team in the league that you can watch for free on YouTube. Here’s what they chose for the Rockies:
- Rockies at Braves, April 17, 2010: Remember when Ubaldo Jimenez was unstoppable for the Rockies? Here he was at his peak, pitching the first no-hitter in Colorado history.
- Padres at Rockies, June 8, 2013: Long before he became a perennial all-star and Gold Glove winner, Nolan Arenado was a rookie. Here was his first walk-off home run.
- Rockies at Diamondbacks, April 5, 2016: Trevor Story had one of the most amazing debuts in MLB history, crushing seven homers in his first six games. This was his first game.
- Padres at Rockies, Sept. 18, 2016: Jon Gray strikes out 16 against the visiting Padres. Sixteen.
- Giants at Rockies, June 18, 2017: It feels like it was yesterday. Nolan Arenado needed a home run to hit for a cycle. He did it in the bottom of the ninth inning with two men on for a walk-off victory on Father’s Day.
