Uncertainty looms over nearly every piece of the state’s school system as planning proceeds for a very different fall semester.

In an effort to continue slowing the spread of COVID-19, some of Colorado’s largest school districts are considering hybridized learning approaches, with a mix of in-person and virtual classes, that will not only reduce the number of students in each classroom but the number of days they’re able to be in their physical school buildings.

Hours before Colorado’s moratorium on evictions and foreclosures was to expire at midnight Saturday, Gov. Jared Polis issued a new and much more limited order.

Colorado landlords must provide tenants with 30 days’ notice “of any default for non-payment before initiating or filing action for forcible entry and detainer,” the new order reads.
