A Massachusetts college student’s dorm room resembled a ski slope after she left the window open during a blizzard, resulting in her belongings getting blanketed with snow. A TikTok video detailing the frigid fiasco currently boasts 2.5 million views on TikTok.

“The consequences of leaving your apartment window open during a Boston blizzard,” read the caption to the uproarious clip, which was uploaded Sunday by the woman’s roommate, known on TikTok as @youaintseennothing. The Boston College student had screenshot a series of texts describing the wintry mishap.

Per the exchange, the victim, only known as Ashlyn, had gone to spend the night at her boyfriend’s dorm Friday during winter storm Kenan, during which the Boston area was carpeted in a record two feet of snow.

Unfortunately, before the pupil left, she left the window open, which caused the blizzard to infiltrate her living quarters overnight.

Ashlyn was alerted to the calamity Saturday morning after her roommate texted to report that their room was freezing. Meanwhile, a third roommate, named Bella, had noticed a powerful draft coming from behind Ashlyn’s closed door, per the exchange.

Ashlyn’s room was carpeted in several inches of snow.

Ashlyn explained that she’d left the window open “a crack,” and told her flatmates to grab the spare key to her room and close it.

That’s when they made the “bone-chilling” discovery that her room had been inundated by ice.

Accompanying footage from their investigation shows a layer of snow carpeting Ashlyn’s bedroom from the mattress to the floor like a real-life snow globe.

The clip concludes with one of her faithful roommates grabbing a dustpan in preparation to “shovel” her snowy abode.

Needless to say, Ashlyn’s intra-dormitory Nor’Easter sparked a wave of facepalms across TikTok.

Thankfully, Ashlyn's roommates were nice enough to start "shoveling" her room.

“I was not expecting this much show,” spluttered one incredulous commenter of the winter blunderland. Another wrote, “okay so she can pay the heating bill this month lmao.”

“Is this her first Boston winter or something?” wondered another aghast observer, to which the video poster explained that Ashlyn is from California.
