For the second consecutive week, the CHSAANow.com prep football Class 5A poll played musical chairs after No. 1 Valor Christian.
Cherry Creek (7-2) moved past Legend (8-1) into the No. 2 spot after the Bruins’ 41-14 blowout of Eaglecrest on Friday. Columbine (6-3) fell five spots to No. 10 after losing, 35-14, to No. 5 Ralston Valley.
The top spot in the other classes remained the same with Montrose (4A), Roosevelt (3A), Eaton (2A), Limon (1A), Haxtun (8-man) and Cheyenne Wells (6-man) staying at the No. 1 positions.
