Christian Alacqua scored on a 17-yard touchdown run on a fourth-and-6 with 7:10 left in the fourth quarter for the game’s final score as Chaminade defeated Monsignor Farrell, 17-14, in CHSFL football Friday night.

Alacqua’s touchdown capped off a 7-play, 58-yard drive. He rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries and Michael Miller had five receptions for 38 yards in the win.

Chaminade’s first score was on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Gary Correa to Gavin Crep with less than a minute left in the second quarter to cut Monsignor Farrell’s lead to 14-7. Thomas Kemp had 16 tackles and a sack for Chaminade (3-2).

Long Island Lutheran 19, Pingry (NJ) 7: Justin Reshard had four receptions for 87 yards, a touchdown and an interception for Long Island Lutheran (2-1) in non-league. Anthony Valdez led the team in rushing with 52 yards on 14 carries. Ethan Licin scored a 6-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter for the game’s final score.

Trey Leandre had 48 rushing yards and a touchdown. Zion Tracy had two receptions for 72 yards and threw a touchdown. Ryan Alexander had two sacks and T.J. Bacon and Josue Cruz each had five tackles in the win.
