action was’ 1

An alleged rioter from Brooklyn surrendered to the FBI Tuesday morning after telling investigators he breached the US Capitol because he wanted to be “where the action was,” court papers allege.

A tipster identified Dovid Schwartzberg in photos and video wearing a red “Make America Great Again” cap and black face mask tucked under his chin during the Jan. 6 siege that left five dead.

Surveillance footage also captured the 19-year-old peering out a broken window as another rioter jumped through it.

Agents interviewed Schwartzberg, and he allegedly identified himself in the images and video.

He had attended former President Donald Trump’s rally protesting the legitimacy of the 2020 election results then joined the mob that stormed the Capitol, climbing through a broken window, because he wanted to “be where the action was,” he allegedly told the agents.

He’s expected to appear in Brooklyn federal court Tuesday on charges of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building and willingly and knowingly uttering loud, threatening or abusive language.

The case is being prosecuted by the US Attorney’s Office in DC.
