Officers Alejandro Amaya, 41, and Lucas W. Vinyard, 39, were charged after the case prompted protests and an FBI probe, according to The Washington Post. The officers have said Ghaisar drove his vehicle at Amaya and that they fired in self-defense, according to The Post.
