“I always like to bring up things from past bowlers to teach lessons, and last year for playoffs, Michael created one (I will) use . . . for future bowlers. While Michael was on varsity his senior year, he did not make the playoff roster, but that did not stop him from letting his presence be known. We were at regionals last year and not bowling so well after the morning three games, and the team energy was low. The team went out to our bus to eat lunch and I talked to the squad as all coaches would do and then left them alone to eat their lunch. Unbeknownst to me, Michael got on the team bus after me and apparently really got the squad motivated. I did not find this out until after we had won regionals.
