David Abel and his wife Sally were aboard the famed, Diamond Princess Cruise Ship celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary when they both contracted the coronavirus.
After the ship was quarantined in Japan they were released to the hospital, David said,
Outside the hospital I came over a bit weird and nearly passed out. Every pore on my body opened and I was wheelchaired to our room.
Both David and Sally were subsuquently diagnosed with coronavirus and pneumonia, now Sally has fully recovered and David needs one more negative coronavirus test before he can leave the hospital.
