MANHATTAN, NY– Many expected riots following Tuesday’s election no matter who won, so much so that businesses boarded up their windows and closed down shop.
When a winner wasn’t declared, those who were gearing up for trouble, took to the streets anyway.
Wednesday morning’s protest which took place in Washington Square Park was mostly peaceful, as people chanted “Count the vote”, police reported.
Wednesday night however is when the extreme left-wing trouble makers came out, and stirred up their normal type of chaos.
As usual, the unruly crowd tried their best to attack police officers, just for the simple fact that they are in fact police officers.
One classy lady decided to go as far as to allegedly spit in the face of an offer, after she tried to assault him with her words of course.
Devina Singh, 24, was caught on video without a mask and screaming at the sergeant, “F— you, fascist!” before allegedly spitting at him.
Singh is not even from NYC, but instead from the small town of Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, which has a reported population of less than 1,500 people.
Clearly she must have been bored in her small town, as she came to NYC to join the mob of anti-police protesters in the West Village, who according to police, lit garbage on fire and screamed at diners who were eating outdoors, in addition to trying to go head to head with police officers.
The NYPD took to Twitter to say although freedom of speech is acceptable, fires and violence are not.
They tweeted:
“We support everyone’s right to self-expression, but setting fires puts others at risk and will not be tolerated. We are working to de-escalate the situation near Morton Street in the West Village to prevent further damage from occurring.”

Singh, was among the sixty people who were arrested at Wednesday nights riot, and was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, violation of local law and harassment.
The New York Post reported that Singh was also busted on resisting arrest charges at a Big Apple protest in September and unlawful assembly during a protest in Brooklyn in October, police said.
According to FOX5, in response to the riots taking place on Wednesday, Mayor Bill de Blasio said:
“If we see any evidence of people intending violence or intending looting, we’re going to deal with it,”
Well, there is plenty of evidence, so it will be interesting to see how these protesters, especially Singh, are going to be “dealt with”.
On her since-deleted Instagram, she proudly posted a photo of her arrest in New York City on September. 18th, writing:
“im so f—— mad … probs bc behind me (white shirt) is Deputy Inspector Elias J. Nikas AKA Little Dick Nik.”

Here is more on the horrible crime rates plaguing NYC.
NEW YORK CITY, NY – People may lie, but in general, proven statistics don’t.
Shootings have increased by an unbelievable 92.4% in New York City (the five boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and The Bronx) since this time last year.
Breitbart brought us these incredibly sad and disturbing statistics in today’s report. The New York Police Department has had reports of 1,235 shootings so far in 2020.
Most assuredly, a virus isn’t out there targeting people and pulling triggers. There is a combination of factors involved here, including city leadership, restricting police actions and proactive enforcement procedures, disrespect of the police by city leadership and the public, and a failed justice system that allows no cash bail in most cases where suspects are immediately released back onto the street when they are arrested.

More statistics: New York City surpassed 1,000 shootings by August 30, 2020. On that date last year, only 537 had occurred.
Irony rears its head when one realizes that New York exists under the “Safe Act” and is one the most gun-controlled cities in the nation.
The Safe Act was signed into law in 2012 after the Sandy Hook shooting in Connecticut and bans the sale of so-called “assault weapons” and places restrictions on other weapons, especially relating to ownership, concealed carry permits, and magazine capacity.

Magazine capacity is generally limited to ten rounds in most cases and applying for a carry permit is nothing short of a nightmare. Application fees must be paid, and the person must formally establish a need – in writing – to justify being issued a permit.
Even then, the permits are allocated sparsely on a “may issue” status instead of the “must issue” status or procedure allowed in most other states.
These extreme, draconian factors only serve to exemplify the failures of the gun control movement when New York City records so many shootings and a monumental increase since last year.
It is easy to surmise that the average criminal on the street, the gang member, the hired gun for neighborhood retribution, and even the casual carrier with a bad attitude don’t obey the rules or laws.

Guns are sold in alleys and in private homes, many are stolen, and these practices allow the bad guys to easily circumvent the substantial laws and policies in place.
The fact has been repeated ad nauseum: criminals don’t obey laws, that’s why they’re criminals.
In addition to shootings coupled with resulting murders, crime in general has exploded in the five boroughs. This is especially true in New York’s subways, where murders have tripled, rapes have doubled, and assaults are through the roof – all while rider numbers are down significantly.
In a report from August, the crime statistics and increases in violent crime are staggering:
Murders have increased by 59%.
Burglaries have increased by 31%.
Auto thefts, including car jackings, have increased by 53%.
It can naturally be assumed that all of these numbers will continue to explode. There is a breaking point coming that will either completely ruin the city forever, or there will be a correction that will take quite a period of time that may bring crime stats back on track to compare to when Rudy Giuliani was mayor.

Mayor Giuliani, also known as “America’s mayor” after 9-11, instituted several strong policies with the coordination of the New York Police Department.
There is obviously a dire economic impact for the city if the trend continues to spike. The city revolves around and operates on its tax base.
Businesses and citizens are leaving the area in droves. Businesses are closing forever, their buildings likely not to be reused. Tourism has dropped significantly. Broadway, Madison Square Garden, and Manhattan attractions like the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island have seen visitor numbers drop by more than 90%.
