Thanksgiving Day is here, and if you want to skip the hassle of preparing a traditional dinner, why not celebrate the holiday at a restaurant? Plenty of restaurant chains will be open today, with some restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner, so you can enjoy a traditional feast with none of the stress.
Bear in mind that due to various health and safety restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic, restaurants may be operating with limited capacity or outdoor dining only, depending on location. Additionally, some locations may require reservations ahead of time, so check with your local restaurant before heading out.
Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving Day 2020
Most Applebees restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day and will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner alongside its regular menu items. Call ahead to check whether your local Applebees will be open.
Bahama Breeze will be serving Thanksgiving dinner from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The dinner is an Island-style spread of sliced turkey with sides starting at $19.99, while Pumpkin Praline Pie will be on offer exclusively for the holiday starting at $6.79 per slice.
Enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner buffet at Black Angus Steakhouse, featuring a choice of soup or garden salad with warm molasses bread, a turkey dinner, and pumpkin pie, for $29.95 for adults and $19.95, though prices may vary by location.
Boston Market will be open and serving traditional Thanksgiving dinner items including turkey or chicken, sides, and a variety of pies for dessert.
Buca di Beppo is serving a traditional Thanksgiving menu for both lunch and dinner, while Cracker Barrel will be open and serving a Turkey n’ Dressing Meal from 11 a.m.
Denny’s will be serving festive dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Thanksgiving and Fogo de Chão will be serving a Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Golden Corral is offering a Thanksgiving buffet featuring sliced turkey, carved ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy, alongside regular menu items.
Hooters restaurants will generally be open as usual on Thanksgiving, but call ahead to check the times of your local restaurant, and similarly, IHOP will open most restaurants on Thanksgiving Day but check ahead with your local IHOP for its hours.
All Macaroni Grill restaurants will be open on November 26 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. will serve a traditional Thanksgiving Three Course Prix Fixe menu for $24.99 per person.
Many McDonald’s restaurants are independently owned and operated so their holiday hours will vary by location.
Ruby Tuesday will be open on Thanksgiving and will serve their regular menu, while Ruth’s Chris Steak House is serving a three-course Thanksgiving dinner for $41.95 per person.
TGI Fridays will be open on Thanksgiving but check with your local restaurant, and finally, Waffle House is open 365 days a year, so will be open over the holidays.
