After a season full of over-the-top performances and out-of-this-world costumes, it’s finally time to learn who’s hiding behind the masks on Season 4 of The Masked Singer.
That’s right folks—the final three celebrities will be revealed on Wednesday during the two-hour finale event. Judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke will be at the panel one last time as they try to guess the final three contestants: Mushroom, Crocodile and The Sun. Luckily, each of the mysterious celebs will be dishing out new clues to help the judges with their guesses.
As exciting of a time as the season finale may be, it’s still a bittersweet one for the contestants, too. It marks the last time that Season 4 singers will get to galavant around the stage in their avant-garde costumes and let their voices shine without all the stipulations of fame. That’s something The Sun sure seems to have appreciated throughout her experience on the show.

In a new Season 4 finale sneak peek, The Sun gets emotional as she reflects back on the time she’s spent belting out songs like “Piece of my Heart” by Janis Joplin and Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over,” among other songs on The Masked Singer stage.
“The best part of this has been people being able to feel the essence of me without the preconceived idea of who or what I am,” The Sun tells the judges in the clip below. “I feel like for the first time, people are actually hearing me and feeling me. And that makes me really happy.”
The judges have considered The Sun a top contender since the moment she first opened up the season with her powerhouse cover of “Cuz I Love You” by Lizzo. Week after week, she’s left the judges and fans in awe of her talent, although their guesses in general have been a bit all over the place. (Remember when Jeong thought the Snow Owls were Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman?)
Speaking of guesses, the Season 4 finale will also bring the Golden Ear Trophy to the judges who have accurately identified the most celebrities. Three of them have made correct guesses at least once throughout the season, but from the looks of another sneak peek, Jeong is a bit confused as to how many accurate guesses he’s made so far.
In the clip below, the actor makes his grand entrance onto the show’s set draped in one of host Nick Cannon’s lavish capes, and also with a crown on his head. He’s also holding two more crowns in his hands. Cannon asks what’s with the getup. “I got three correct,” Jeong says in the clip.
“It is a Ken Jeong record,” he adds.
There’s only problem with that math: Jeong hasn’t actually guessed the correct identity of anyone this season. He has a simple remedy, though. “I just gotta get each and every one of these contestants correct and then I will win the Golden Ear,” he says.
Jeong’s got stiff competition from the other judges. McCarthy already has three correct guesses under her belt, and Thicke and Scherzinger are tied with two correct guesses each.
The Masked Singer airs on Fox on Wednesday, at 8 p.m. ET.
