SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Protesters that do not buy Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s claim that she was unaware of going into a salon was a violation of the stay at home order given by the Governor showed up around her house. The peaceful protesters did not commit vandalism nor burned any flags.
Instead, this group hung up blow dryers in the trees outside of her home.

On September 3rd, over twelve women showed up at the Speaker’s residence wearing curlers and wrapped in plastic smocks to voice their peaceful displeasure. The group was unhappy with the double standard Pelosi showed when she went to get her hair taken care of against the current lockdown orders given by the Governor.

Videos of the protest were posted on social media which showed the group placing the hair dryers and curlers into trees around Pelosi’s home.
The group also gave speeches and criticized her visit saying that it was hypocritical.
One of the protesters said:
“I just want to say one thing to Nancy Pelosi: Get out of the salon and get back to work and pass a Covid relief bill in Washington. Work with the Republicans, work with the Democrats, work with the independents, we don’t care. Get the job done.”

The incident came to light recently, as reported by LET in which an assistant to Pelosi contacted the salon and requested an appointment. The stylist was not sure what to do and contacted her boss who did not know.
The end result was Pelosi, third in line for the presidency, showed up for her appointment.
Pelosi claims that the salon contacted her and told her they were allowed to accommodate one person inside at a time. While that excuse may be believable for the average person, someone who is as powerful as Pelosi certainly knows better.
Not to mention, she actively advocates for the shutdown of the United States over the pandemic.

Many people were upset over Pelosi after this incident was reported, especially other salon workers who have been forced to close since the order came out. Although salons were allowed to open on August 31st, they were only allowed to perform services outside and patrons were required to wear a mask.
Something of which Pelosi, in her position, should be knowledgeable.

After Pelosi’s team initially denied that the Speaker did not wear a mask and followed all protocols while indoors, they quickly changed course when the video surveillance was given to Fox News. Now, Pelosi is saying that she was “setup” by the salon and still denies she knew her going inside was against the regulations.
Pelosi said:
“I take responsibility for trusting the word of a neighborhood salon that I’ve been to over the years many times. And that when they said they could accommodate people one person at a time and that we could set up that time, I trust that.
“As it turns out, it was a setup. So, I take responsibility for falling for a setup.”
Erica Kious denies that there was any setup involved regarding Pelosi’s visit and told Fox News that she does not owe any apology to the Speaker of the House.
Kious said:
“Mrs. Pelosi owes the entire country an apology. If America goes in front of Congress and lies, they go to jail. But apparently, when the most powerful woman in the world lies to America, we owe her an apology.”
President Donald Trump weighed in on the “Hairgate Scandal” with a tweet, saying:
“Does anyone want a Speaker of the House who can be so easily SET UP?”
On September 3rd, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany played the Pelosi salon surveillance video during the briefing.
She then told reporters:
“Apparently, the rules do not apply to Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She wants small businesses to stay shut down but only reopen for her convenience.”
Here’s Law Enforcement Today’s original article on Hair Gate.
The following editorial is written by a former Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today. This is a follow-up story to an earlier article.
Can we all agree on something? Nancy Pelosi is a pathetic human being. She is mean-spirited and believes that the rules only apply to other people, not her. She’s not afraid to lecture everyone else, while at the same time engaging in the same conduct she’s lecturing about.
Pelosi was caught red-handed violating COVID-19 mandates in San Francisco when she went to a hair salon in the city to get her hair done. So, like anyone who got caught doing something wrong, she immediately apologized, right? Wrong.
The first thing she did is send out a spokesman to give her cover, saying that she had “complied” with the COVID-19 restrictions put in place in San Francisco. They said that she had complied with “rules put in place by the establishment” and that she was allegedly told the salon could have “one customer inside at a time.” As Maury Povich says, we have determined that was a lie.
With Pelosi under increasing criticism on Wednesday for busting the very regulations she had criticized President Trump for just last Friday, she took it to another level, as reported by Fox News. Now, she is claiming she was “set up” by the salon, and claims it owes her an apology. She seriously said that.
Pelosi must have been one of these kids in school, where if she forgot to do her homework offered up the excuse that “my dog ate my homework.” Or, when otherwise misbehaving, saying “He made me do it!” What an unadulterated fraud.

Pelosi said that she had been going to the salon for some time “over the years many times.”
“I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I have been to many times,” Pelosi told reporters. “When they said they could accommodate people one at a time, and we can set up that time, I trusted that.”
She continued, “As it turns out, it was a set up. So I take responsibility for falling for a setup. The salon owes me an apology.”
Now, the owner of the salon is speaking out. Here she is on Tucker Carlson Tonight:
Amazing. The owner the salon where Nancy Pelosi went to get her hair done was just on Tucker.

See how that works? Pelosi (or one of her minions) called the salon, most likely telling them exactly who it was they were calling for and asked for a wash and blow out. Does anyone think for a minute that under the circumstances someone would tell the Speaker of the House no?
Isn’t it HER responsibility, as ostensibly the third most powerful person in the country to know what the COVID-19 regulations are in HER district?
Pelosi also downplayed the fact that she was not wearing a mask in the video footage, obtained by Fox News.
“I just had my hair washed. I don’t wear a mask when I’m washing my hair,” she railed. “DO you wear one when you wash your hair?”
Meantime, President Trump, who has been locked in a bitter feud with Pelosi for some time wasted no time in mocking Pelosi for her obvious power play.
“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is being decimated for having a beauty parlor opened, when all others are closed, and for not wearing a mask—despite constantly lecturing everyone else,” Trump tweeted Wednesday. “We will almost certainly take back the House and send Nancy packing!”

Remember subjects…the rules only apply to you…the ruling class is exempt from following their own rules. Lori Lightfoot, useless mayor of Chicago got her hair done during stay at home orders put in place by the governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker because she’s “on TV.” Now, Nancy (Evita Peron) Pelosi has apparently exempted herself from following the rules as well.
According to KTLA in Los Angeles, Pelosi went to a hair salon in San Francisco this past Monday for a wash and blow-out, despite the fact that local ordinances and executive orders are keeping salons closed due to the 3/1000 of 1% chance of dying of coronavirus.

However Pelosi’s spokesman said that she was allegedly complying with rules as directed by eSalon.
“This business offered for the Speaker to come in on Monday and told her they were allowed by the city to have one customer at a time in the business,” Drew Hammill said in a statement. “The Speaker complied with the rules as presented to her by this establishment.
In security footage obtained by Fox News, which had a 3:08 p.m. Monday time stamp, Pelosi was seen walking through the salon with wet hair and not wearing a mask over her mouth and nose.

The stylist who was doing her hair, however was seen wearing a black face mask.
Fox reported that hair salons have been closed in San Francisco since March and were only recently notified that they could reopen on Sept. 1, however for outdoor services only.
The owner of the salon was incensed when she spoke to Fox News via telephone on Tuesday. She told the outlet that she has independent hair stylists who work in the salon that rent chairs.
“One of the stylists who rents a chair from me contacted me Sunday night,” said Erica Kious, the salon’s owner.
A screenshot of the text message sent to the owner by the stylist which was obtained by Fox said, “I’ll be there at 2:45 tomorrow. Pelosi assistant just messaged me to do her hair.”
Kious replied, “Pelosi?”
Kious said that when she received the message, she said to herself, “I was like, are you kidding me right now? Do I let this happen? What do I do?” Kious told Fox.
She said that she cannot currently “control” what the stylists do since they rent from her and are not her employees. She also noted that at the moment, “they’re not paying.”
Kious complained that Pelosi getting her hair done amounted to a double standard.
“It was a slap in the face that he went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” Kious said.
She continued that she “Can’t believe” Pelosi didn’t have a mask on. Fox noted that the footage showed some type of covering around her neck.
“We’re supposed to look up to this woman, right?” Kious said. “It’s just disturbing.”
She also pushed back on the claim by Hammill that Pelosi had complied with the rules.
According to coronavirus safety precautions, “you’re not supposed to blow dry hair,” Kious said.
“We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses and I just can’t—it’s a feeling—a feeling of being deflated, helpless and honestly beaten down,” Kious said.
“I have been fighting for six months for a business that took me 12 years to build to reopen,” she told Fox. “I am a single mom; I have two small children and I have no income.”
Kious added that Pelosi coming in to get her hair done was “like a slap in the face.”
Kious said that she had initially hoped to be able to open her salon back up in July and had implemented safety measures in accordance with local guidelines.
“There were rules and regulations to go by to safely reopen, which I did, but I was still not allowed to open my business,” she said.
She explained that she had plexiglass partitions installed between sinks and seating areas and had taken steps to make sure that all the salon chairs were six feet apart. She also ensured there was proper air circulation in the facility.
“They never let us open,” she said.
As a sign of just how out of touch the people making these regulations are, she said that she will be unable to open outside because her salon specializes in hair color. Using chemicals outside is prohibited.
So here, you have a hair salon, where women typically go for other services aside from haircuts, yet they are restricted from using the products they need outside. Typical California.
Kious noted that the closures and restrictions were not just affecting her business, but a lot of other people.
“This is for everybody,” Kious told Fox. “I am sharing this because of what everyone in my industry and my city, what every small business is going through right now.”
Although she received $12,000 in Paycheck Protection Program loan money, she will be forced to permanently shut down her salon within the next couple of months.
“No one can last anymore,” she said. “I have also lost 60 percent of my clientele because everyone is fleeing the city.”
She complained that the area where her salon is located has turned into a “third world country,” with “every other storefront” being “completely vacant and shut down and boarded up.” Hmm, sounds like New York.
“And because of the shutdown and the store closures, we’ve lost people, my clients, and my employees and that is due to the politics in San Francisco,” she said.
She added that in particular, the homeless population is “everywhere” and “defecating” all over the city.
“It has gotten so extreme. It is so night and day from what it was a year ago, that everyone is fleeing.”
Hey, but what does Pelosi care? She lives in a mansion outside the city. Besides, she’s been getting paid since March and has barely shown up. Ah, to be in the ruling class.
