Toyota Motor Corp. said Wednesday it has restarted production at six plants in Ontario and the U.S. after disruptions from the Canadian trucker protests.

The company has three plants in Ontario that stopped production February 10 once protestors had blockaded a key Detroit-Windsor bridge, according to Reuters. It said Monday its plants in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Alabama were still experiencing effects from the blockage even after the bridge reopened.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
