A 34-year-old Queens man was busted Wednesday for cocking and pointing an assault rifle at a cop on a stakeout, police and sources said.

Julin Liriano was charged after walking out of a home at 85-25 Eliot Ave. around 6:45 p.m. and pointing the weapon at a police detective who was on a stakeout, prompting the cop to drive off to a safe distance, the sources said.

Police said Liriano leveled the gun at officers a second time when the cop returned with other members of the New York Drug Enforcement Task Force — a joint team of DEA, NYPD, and state police investigators — which was conducting the stakeout.

Liriano fled into the home but was taken into custody around 8 p.m.

Cops executed a search warrant and found a collection of weapons inside, including a loaded Baretta .380 automatic pistol, a Mac11 submachine gun, and loaded CZ Scorpion EVO carbine — the weapon allegedly pointed at the detective, the sources said.

Also inside were three pounds of marijuana and a little less than a quarter-pound of cocaine.

Liriano was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and menacing.

Authorities would not say if Liriano was the target of the task force stakeout because they do not discuss pending investigations.

Liriano’s case is being handled by the city’s Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor.
