signs opens fire on Trump supporter in Maryland 1

KINGSVILLE, MD – A man was installing Black Lives Matter signs over the weekend in Baltimore County, Maryland when his neighbors drove by with President Trump flags waving from their truck.

Police say the Trump supporters honked their horn which drew the ire of the BLM supporter, who opened fire on the truck.  Thankfully, the rounds from the shotgun did not injure anyone nor hit the truck.

The incident was reported on October 24th as two men, Neal Houk and his son, Bradley Lang, were driving by their neighbor, Douglas Kuhn and noticed he was placing a Black Lives Matter sign in his yard.

Houk claimed that it is normal for neighbors to wave at each other in the neighborhood as a hello, so that is what he did.

Houk said:

“It’s Kingsville, it’s a friendly area.  Everyone honks at each other.  We think we were hoping there could be some civility between people who support different candidates.”

However, they were wrong, and Kuhn felt no civility between he and the neighbors when he saw the truck drive by with giant President Trump flags.  Kuhn allegedly picked up a shotgun that he had next time and fired a round at Houk.  He said:

“He [Kuhn] reached down.  He had a shotgun right there, pulled it out and pointed it right at…And we were in disbelief.  Next thing we heard was a shotgun blast.”

Thankfully, no one was hit and Houk’s truck was not damaged in the incident.  Houk said that he drove to a safe location and notified police officials as to what had occurred. Houk said that he saw Kuhn point the shotgun at him, saying:

“We were looking right down the barrel of a shotgun.”

Lang, also spoke of the incident and said:

“He [Kuhn], picked up a shotgun from near his feet and ran towards us aiming it and we got 100, 200 feet down the road, he began to fire.  We were scared, although we were happy that he missed, the truck was missed and we were alright.”

A neighbor, only identified as Todd, allegedly told police that he saw the incident and confirmed that Kuhn had a shotgun and fired on Houk.  Todd said:

“We didn’t see it.  We heard it and it was indistinguishable that it was a shotgun.”

The police made contact with Kuhn who denied that he had a shotgun, he alleged that he was only holding a shovel in his hands.

However, there were witnesses at the scene which disputed his claims, as a result, he was arrested for first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and using a firearm in the commission of a crime.  Police also alleged that they seized two firearms from Kuhn’s property.

Baltimore County District Court Judge Philip Tirabassi presided over a bail review hearing for Kuhn.  Tirabassi said during the hearing:

“How did it get to the point where he [Kuhn] pulls out a shotgun?  What has the world come to?  This is beyond belief.  Free speech.  Why resort to weaponry?  This could have been horrible.”

Tirabassi ordered Kuhn on house arrest until his next court date.

Houk also was surprised that such an incident could happen, especially in his hometown. He said:

“I would never think – especially in Kingsville – that anyone would be violent about this situation.  We all play nice here.  It is America.”

Lang added:

“He [Kuhn] obviously has his political beliefs, as he showed with his signs.  We were expressing those same rights, and he attacked us for that.”

If Kuhn is convicted on all counts, he could be sentenced to a maximum 100 years in prison for the offenses.

Two liberals facing hate crime charges after assaulting 7-year-old Trump supporter and his mom

September 10, 2020

WILMINGTON, DE – A 7-year-old boy who set out to support President Trump during last month’s DNC convention in Delaware is now on the receiving end of nationwide support himself.

He became the victim of what a county court now labels as a hate crime, just as the boy was getting his start in peaceful political activism.

Two Delaware women are accused of attacking him and stealing his MAGA hat.

Now, the women are both facing charges tied to that attack.

According to the Delaware News Journal, on Tuesday, a grand jury indicted Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching and felony hate crimes.

Of the seven charges, three are felonies. The hate crime charges carry the most severe punishment. If convicted on all counts, each woman could face up to 15 years in prison.

Both women are 21 years old.

Video from August 20 appears to show the pair shouting at the boy, stealing his hat and then tossing it over a fence outside the Democratic National Convention in Wilmington.

In the three weeks since it was first posted, the recording has gone viral with nearly 5.5 million views on Twitter.

The video starts by showing two women kicking what appear to be handmade political signs.

A woman off camera asks “are you destroying my property?” and another woman responds “yes, we are.”

The confrontation escalates from there.

The video shows a young boy run into the frame and say “That’s somebody else’s hat.” The boy starts crying, and the two women who took his hat respond with profanity.

The more than two-minute long clip has gotten thousands of comments in response on Twitter.

Twitter user Mozella Stokes wrote:

“That was wrong, no child should be subjected to that. No matter what their hat says, no matter what their T shirt says, no matter what color their skin is, no matter where they live. It is wrong to do this to children, to anyone.”

Another, Autumn Turland, posted:

“I personally hope they get a really big lesson by the law that this is unacceptable. Your opinion is not a reason to assault anyone.”

Other media reports following the incident have said he was wearing the pro-Trump gear while waiting outside the convention with his mom to eat dinner.

The Delaware News Journal reports that the boy’s mother says she was “punched in the face” repeatedly during the attack.

The newspaper quoted Delaware’s Democratic Attorney General Kathleen Jennings. She said:

“Violence in any form is unacceptable, but harming another person — let alone a child — because of the expression of their views betrays the principles on which our country was founded. Free speech, free assembly, and free expression are sacred, no matter whether we agree with the opinions expressed, and especially when we don’t.”
