Although the coronavirus pandemic seems to have the world on pause, many have found a way to keep life inching toward a sense of normalcy.

When people travel outside, they wear face masks. If they’re relaxing on the beach or a bench, they keep their distance. Testing rooms and classrooms in Asia space exam takers and students apart so they can do their work safely. That same idea has been taken up by mosques as Muslims have been praying at a farther distance during Ramadan.

In Germany, shopping for toys requires a face mask and some theater groups there are performing via a drive-in experience. Meanwhile, gamers have found a way to attend Travis Scott concert virtually through “Fortnite.”

Some countries such as Japan are urging residents stay home while Filipinos are taking tests to see if they have COVID-19.

Closer to home, drivers in Campbell entertained a neighborhood with a car parade while in San Francisco, people got together to sing the old Tony Bennett standby “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” on Nob Hill. Down south in Los Angeles, pilots showed their appreciation for health coworkers with a message in the sky.
