Gov. Medical supply donation stations were set up at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland and Walnut Creek, groceries were distributed at a drive-through grocery station set up behind Flights in Los Gatos and Falcon Spirits Distillery owner and biochemist Farid Dormishian made FDA-approved hand sanitizer in Richmond. Over the weekend, the federal government began setting up a medical emergency facility at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

Alameda County reported its first death due to the coronavirus, alongside 16 new cases. The Bay Area’s death toll is now 14.
