The state’s daily vaccine report includes data on “first doses administered” and “second doses administered.” Due to the available vaccines both requiring two doses, a person is not considered “fully vaccinated” until they have received their second dose.

Below you’ll find data for the number of fully vaccinated people in Massachusetts, as well as the number of first doses given and the total number of doses shipped to the commonwealth.

Number of people fully vaccinated: 504,304

Number of first doses given: 1,166,889

Total doses shipped to Massachusetts: 2,047,960
