An officer was shot Tuesday night, and a suspect was taken into custody, Denver police said.
The shooting happened in the area of West Kentucky Avenue and South Knox Court, police said.
The officer was taken to a local hospital and is in “stable” condition, police said.
There are street closures in the area of the incident and an investigation is ongoing.
