“In New York City, we need a mechanism to forgive rents,” Alliance Executive Director Andrew Rigie said. “If this goes on for three months, these small businesses are not going to be able to climb out of the hole. It will cripple everyday, hardworking people with debt. We need financial forgiveness.”
