Recently signed forward Michael Beasley tested positive for the illness and his status for the NBA restart in Orlando, Fla., is now up in the air, according to The Athletic.
The Nets brought in the 31-year-old Beasley as a substitute player recently with the team missing several players due to injury or coronavirus concerns.
Four Nets — including Kevin Durant — tested positive in March, while Spencer Dinwiddie, DeAndre Jordan and Taurean Prince have bowed out of the league restart due to positive tests in the past few weeks.
Wilson Chandler bowed out of the tournament over coronavirus concerns.
Durant and fellow star Kyrie Irving won’t be playing due to unrelated injuries.
