Sheriff’s department spokeswoman Pam Jones said in a release that the lieutenant, who is assigned to the Civil Division, was executing a court-ordered property seizure around noon Thursday in the 600 block of Hanley Street. He knocked on the door and identified himself, Jones said, but initially, there was no answer.
