Man faces attempted murder charge after police say he shot

Tramin Harris was arrested about 10 p.m. Monday in the 3800 block of West Polk Street in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side after police exchanged gunfire with Harris, shooting and injuring him, police said. Harris, of the 800 block of South Independence Boulevard, also facing charges of aggravated assault to an officer and being an armed habitual criminal, police said. He was scheduled for a bond hearing Wednesday.
