Larry King is breathing on his own and has even video chatted with his three sons following his hospitalization for COVID-19, his spokesman said.

The broadcast legend, 87, was moved out of the ICU on New Year’s Eve, according to David Theall, a spokesman for Ora Media, a production company formed by King.

King, who has been hospitalized for more than a week at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, shared a video phone call with his children, Theall said.

He required oxygen but can now breathe on his own, Theall added.

News of King’s coronavirus diagnosis and subsequent hospitalization broke over the weekend.
