Justin Turner tested positive for COVID-19 during Dodgers’
World Series win 1

Los Angeles Dodgers star Justin Turner was taken out of Game 6 of the World Series on Wednesday after it was revealed he tested positive for COVID-19, according to Fox Sports.

No other reports on the 35-year-old’s condition were given immediately after the Dodgers beat the Rays 4-2 to claim the World Series.

The news came as a surprise because COVID-19 tests results are usually reported before games.

Turner was the first MLB player to test positive for the virus in over a month.

The season was reduced to 60 games after the virus delayed the beginning of the season.

Several teams, including the Marlins and Cardinals, had outbreaks during the regular season that altered their schedules.
