Joe Rogan defends podcast after Spotify’s COVID-19 misinformation crackdown – ‘Interesting conversations with people that have differing opinions’

On Sunday afternoon, facing pressure from Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Spotify Chief Executive Daniel Ek published the platform’s rules and announced a dedicated COVID-19 hub “that provides easy access to data-driven facts, up-to-date information as shared by scientists, physicians.” Any podcast that discusses COVID-19 will include a content advisory that links back to the facts.
