At around 2 p.m., an unidentified officer was shot outside a federal office building near the Vigo County Courthouse, according to the Tribune-Star. Near the scene, officers found the vehicle belonging to the suspect outside the Terre Haute Regional Hospital. It was later reported that the suspect was in surgery at that hospital.
