“Hamilton” is officially closing in San Francisco due to the coronavirus crisis.
The blockbuster musical was set to run at the Orpheum Theatre through May 31.
“Due to the current California stay-at-home mandate and the shelter-in-place order in San Francisco, all remaining performances of HAMILTON have been canceled at the Orpheum Theatre,” according to a news release from BroadwaySF.
The closure follows a number of previous announcements of canceled “Hamilton” performances.
Customers who purchased tickets through BroadwaySF will be automatically refunded through the original method of purchase.
Those who purchased tickets through another source (such as Vivid Seats, Goldstar or TodayTix) should consult with that source in regard to refunds.
