A free, no-appointment-or-referral-necessary testing clinic is going to be held Monday in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston.
The tests at the Prince Hall Grand Lodge, 24 Washington St., are part of a Boston-wide effort to provide stepped up testing and contact tracing to contain the spread of the virus. Testing is free regardless of insurance or immigration status, and will not affect “public charge” rule determinations.
Tests will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Organizers say that as Boston reopens and college students return to campuses, these efforts are vital to health.
A full list of long-term and pop-up testing sights in Boston is available at boston.gov. The state has also created a map of testing sights throughout Massachusetts.
