Throughout the lockdown, communication has been scattershot, vague and confusing. Take the example of Spring Break. First, we were told by the union that the city had agreed that only Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10 would be off. Then we were informed that there was no Spring Break at all. Finally, we discovered that, while there would still be “school,” there would be “theme days.” And each new piece of information was released in a late or reactive manner.
