Salted Bergamot, “An exhilarating blend of salty air, bergamot, an orange leaf.|” It is what the small bottle of luxury hand soap so eloquently described in the small pumping room I was utilizing to pump milk for my 8-month-old baby at my hospital located in South Bronx. Smelling and sampling the different novelty soaps that the thoughtful staff would place in the room had slowly become a small yet simple pleasure in an otherwise stressful day.
