The theft occurred July 31 in the 400 block of Crestwood Drive. The victim was outside mowing her lawn when a four-door tan vehicle parked near her residence. A short, heavyset, Hispanic looking male, who walked with a limp exited the vehicle and approached her, according to Capt. James Gonzales with the Hobart Police Department.
