CDC Issues Warning against Cruise and Plane Trips 1

The CDC, Centers for Disease Control has issued a travel warning and now recommends that travelers, “defer all cruise ship travel worldwide.” The CDC also says that, “cruise ship passengers are at an increased risk for person-to-person spread of infectious diseases, including COVID-19.”

The CDC is also urging that elderly people, especially those with compromised health avoid long plane trips.

This is a major shift by the CDC as the Trump administration has been hesitant to dissuade Americans from travelling.
