Boston Mayor Michelle Wu got an earful from disgruntled constituents who soundly criticized her decision to keep the city’s mask mandate and other anti-coronavirus measures in place.

Wu, who has been in office three months, started her Instagram Live Town Hall Friday with a smile, but it quickly faded as she was barraged with messages denouncing the virus restrictions.

“You are ruining our great city,” one viewer commented as Wu began the live broadcast of a question-and-answer session, ABC-4 Boston reported.

“How long will you mandate tyranny?” another person asked in a comment. “Why do you hate kids? Teachers? Cops? Firemen?”

Wu appeared stunned by the vitriol, Fox News reported, and said she would be “happy to answer any questions people have.”

But she ignored those who asked when the mandates would end. Copies of the video were shared on multiple platforms, but it doesn’t appear that Wu made the video available on her feed so that it could be viewed later.
