Police in Aurora are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in an accident with an unmarked police car.

The incident happened at about 6:45 p.m. and the driver in the suspect vehicle, a 1999 blue Ford Exhibition, with Colorado license plate BGKW92, was last seen heading northbound on Interstate 225 from East 17th Avenue.
The officer suffered minor injuries, police said. The Ford SUV is registered in Aurora.
