Before joining the rest of the NBA in Las Vegas for the annual Summer League, the Warriors will participate in a smaller exhibition tournament in Sacramento that includes the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat.

Beginning Aug. 3, those four teams will play a total of four games as part of the third-ever California Classic Summer League at Golden 1 Center. Teams will feature rookies selected in this month’s NBA Draft and fringe players attempting to make NBA and G League rosters.

The Warriors, who have the seventh and 14th overall selections in the July 29 draft, will play the Kings on Aug. 3 at 8 p.m. and the Heat on Aug. 4 at 5 p.m.

The Warriors have participated in the previous two tournaments, winning the inaugural California Classic in 2018 with a 3-0 record.

Two-day passed to the California Classic will be available to the general public on July 12 and single-day passes on July 20 at Kings.com/CAClassic.

The summer Warriors will then head to Las Vegas for NBA Summer League, which will take place Aug. 8-17 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Rosters and coaching staffs for both competitions will be announced at a later date.
