Sultan’s Kebab of Danville and Pleasanton has opened its long-awaited third restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek.

Located in the former Bombay Indian Restaurant at 1512 N. Main Street, the restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Abdullah Dinc, who told the East Bay Times back in May that he felt there was “good potential in Walnut Creek” to share his kebabs and shawarma with more people.

And for longer hours: Sultan’s Kebab is open for dine-in, delivery and takeout from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, so you can totally justify having honeyed baklava or kunkefe for breakfast while also satisfying that late-night kebab itch.

A bit delayed — the restaurant was originally slated to open in June — Sultan’s Kebab specializes in kebab combos including kefta, salmon and shrimp ($14-$16), shawarma combos ($13-$14), choose-your-protein casseroles ($13-$16) and appetizers, like dolma, babaganoush and garlic feta fries ($2.50-$5.50), plus wraps and salads ($10-$14). Vegetarian options include wraps, like the house falafel wrap stuffed with veggies and accompanied by a side salad.
