Two cops were seriously injured when fireworks exploded in a Queens park early Monday, The Post has learned.

The officers, whose names were not known, were on duty and assigned to the NYPD’s CitiField detail when the fireworks went off in Fresh Meadows Park just before 3:45 a.m., according to police and sources.

One of the officers lost a finger and the other had severe injuries to their right hand and right eye, police sources said.

Sources added the second officer may lose their eye.

Further details of the incident were not immediately known.
