Taste of Park Ridge, featuring more than 20 food and drink booths and live entertainment, was scheduled to occur July 9-11 in its usual location surrounding the Park Ridge Metra station, along Summit Avenue between Prospect and Touhy Avenues. Run by a nonprofit organization that is separate from the city of Park Ridge, the event typically draws shoulder-to-shoulder crowds within a confined area, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights when headlining bands are scheduled to perform in the parking lot just west of Touhy and Summit.
Taste of Park Ridge’s fate uncertain; Skokie and Des Plaines fests cancelled due to COVID-19
