Eric E. Ericson, 63, was sentenced to four years in prison Friday after he was found guilty by a jury of aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting a police officer, Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office officials said in a news release. His jury trial held in August was the first to be conducted at the Kane County Judicial Center after court cases were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
