The blows rendered the woman unconscious, the Rev. Julie Contreras, pastor of Our Lady of Suyapa Sanctuary in Waukegan, said Friday. Contreras said the woman’s family contacted her because of Contreras’ involvement in the case of a man named Abel Rosiles, who died this summer after he was arrested by Round Lake Beach police.
