A Polish gym has worked out a way to stay open under new coronavirus restrictions — by rebranding as a church.

“Because fitness classes aren’t allowed, starting today we’re offering religious gatherings for members of the Church of the Healthy Body,” the Atlantic Sports club in Krakow said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

“Hard to believe? In this world everything is possible.”

Manager Marta Jamróz also dubbed the gym’s trainers “the elder council” in the post.

The move comes after Poland shuttered most gyms and pools in an effort to curb a recent surge in COVID-19 infections, Agence France-Presse reported.

The measures also require restaurants to close early nationwide, while weddings are banned and some schools in virus hot spots have switched to remote learning.

However, church services are still allowed in the devout Catholic country — as long as faithful wear masks and stick to an attendance limit.

A couple hundred people gathered in Warsaw on Saturday to protest the rules against the fitness industry.
