Longtime AFC East rivals meet on Monday when the Patriots take a short flight to New Jersey to visit the Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
This will be the second divisional home game in the past 15 days for the winless Jets, who are coming off a 35-9 loss as a 20-point underdog to the Chiefs. New York entered that one coming off its first 2020 against-the-spread win, having held the favored Bills without a touchdown in an 18-10 loss to Buffalo in Week 7. The 2-5 Patriots, who come into this one on a four-game losing streak, haven’t won a game since September. They fell to 0-3 on the road in 2020 with a 24-21 loss as a 4-point underdog in Buffalo this past Sunday. This is the first time in 20 years New England has started a season with fewer than three victories over the team’s first seven games.
