“People who are not oppressed telling oppressed people how to protest is, in and of itself, an act of oppression,” Walker-Peddakotla said. “Not being an oppressed person, with regards to the issues that are being protested about, it is therefore not my place to say whether this particular act of protest is legitimate.”
