No one was injured in the altercation, which took place at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday when the officer stopped a 41-year-old Waukegan man on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force. Instead of stopping, the task force said, the man accelerated and drove away before eventually stopping at the intersection of 24th Street and Dickey Avenue.
