Nightlife guru-turned-indie movie producer Noel Ashman is on the mend after battling COVID-19 and is working on a new film.

He’s teaming up with Damon Dash and Julie Pacino to produce a short filmed called “For NYC.”

“I had an epiphany while I was battling the virus and I wanted to do something to give back to people. We’re giving our friends a chance to help people and to cheer them up during these difficult times. It will make for riveting viewing,” he told Page Six.

The project will feature their high-profile friends filming themselves in quarantine and will pay homage to NYC. Dash and Ashman are co-directing it.

“We have a big list. We’re going to get actors, musicians, athletes, rockers … We came up with different scenarios, but basically it will be based on a quote like a historical figure they’re quoting. If they’re an actor, it be a quote from their own movie. For musicians, they can do a song.”

Dash added, “I’m going to do a couple of little roles … and then I might do a little Shakespeare to take myself outside my comfort zone … some of those words sound funny, so I’m going to make them my words.”
